Dinner will be ready in 3 hours! We planned to go swimming while we waited for dinner, but Tessa napped until 3:30, when Lucy decided she wanted to take a nap in her bed. I think we are in for the day now. I'm certainly not complaining about sleeping children. I am much too wise to do something like that.

Thursday, May 19th at 2:42 pm.
I put Tessa down for her nap at 11:30, and immediately started in on the one thing I really wanted to accomplish today. Replacing the leaky bathroom faucet. Now, over 2 hours later, this is how it stands:
There is a plastic nut under the basin. If you search the internet, they say there is something called a basin wrench that will easily remove this nut. The people at Lowe's have never heard of such a thing. Seriously, am I the first person to ever change a faucet? Do I need to invent a tool to make this job easy?
So, we are waiting for Tessa to wake up so we can make a trip to Home Depot. I usually don't like going there, but hopefully they are more helpful that the plumbing department at Lowes.

Yes, it's almost 3:30 and 2 of my children are still in their pajamas. The other one is wearing a dress that would not be decent to post on the internet.
OK, Lucy is in her second pair of pajamas of the day. I think I will bathe them soon and put them in another pair of pajamas for bed.
It's raining today, and leaving the house usually involves spending money. So, why push to get dressed?

I wish I could say that was my only handful of M-n-Ms that I snatched while my children were eating their healthy snack at the table, but that would just not be true. Notice the full bottle of water that would have been a better choice at the time.
On another note, take a look at Tessa! She's dressing up as "Mou Mou" for the first time. Isn't she a cutie!
